Up to now, 15 experienced homeopathic practitioners have submitted their best chronic cases to the database of the Bayesian Homeopathic Repertory (BHR). This resulted in 843 cases so far. Imagine how many cases could be submitted by hundreds of homeopathic practitioners! However, quality comes first. With the currently manageable amount of data, we have the best opportunity to learn from our data, to improve the structure and content of the repertory and materia medica, and to improve the quality of submitted cases.

The version of the BHR app that was launched April 2025 expires by the end of March 2026. You can download the new version from https://www.bayesian-homeopathic-repertory.com/download-descargar.
The same site provides more information about the Bayesian repertory and materia medica, and a manual for submission of cases.
Our data now comprise information about the 43 most used homeopathic medicines and the most frequently occurring symptoms. These medicines suffice for over 80% of all our chronic cases. With the current prototype we have several unprecedented opportunities, such as:
Find the best choice within these 43 medicines based on common symptoms, while the symptom-rubrics of old repertories are misleading.
Find the optimal settings of the repertorisation algorithm to maximise its effectiveness.
Find the strengths and weaknesses of the knowledge of practitioners and improve them.

Hasta ahora, 15 homeópatas experimentados han enviado sus mejores casos crónicos a la base de datos del Repertorio Homeopático Bayesiano (BHR). Ya contamos con 843 casos. ¡Imaginemos lo que ocurriría si participaran cientos de colegas! Sin embargo, la calidad está primero. Con este volumen aún manejable de datos, tenemos una gran oportunidad para aprender, mejorar la estructura y el contenido del repertorio y la materia médica y también de mejorar la calidad de los casos que nos envían.

Nuestra base de datos incluye hoy información sobre los 43 medicamentos homeopáticos más usados y los síntomas más frecuentes. Con estos medicamentos se cubre más del 80% de las prescripciones crónicas. Con el prototipo de repertorio actual se nos abren oportunidades inéditas, como por ejemplo:
Elegir el medicamento más adecuado entre esos 43 basándonos en síntomas comunes, evitando los sesgos de los repertorios tradicionales.
Ajustar el algoritmo de repertorización para maximizar su efectividad.
Detectar las fortalezas y debilidades en el conocimiento de los homeópatas y mejorarlas.
